We are the first boat centre in the island, since 2003, specializing in motorboat and powerboat hire. We are located in Vathi, the village-harbour of the island. After your requests we have 20 motorboats including 3 powerboats ( 1 Regal 2200, 1 RIB SACHS 6m and 1 Compass Cabin).

We also have motorbikes, quad bikes and buggy, after your demands. We can provide as well any service regarding accommodation.

The island:
Meganisi (the name in Greek means big island), is the biggest of the islands on the eastern side of Lefkada island and the only populated one. On its three villages, Spartohori, Katomeri and Vathi, live about 1.500 people. The first time Meganisi was mentioned in history is in Homer’s Odyssey, as the ‘Tafion Island’ traditional ally of king Ulysses of Ithaca.

Since then, many have changed, and many have stayed the same. Meganisi has been described as a step in the past, the last true Greek paradise and many more.

In our days, Meganisi is a modern island, with one foot in the past and one foot in the present, while it looks blissfully at the future. Many old traditions and habits exist, such as old style grapes tending and harvesting techniques, olive oil making, festivals and more.

But the islanders have a modern way of life as well, living in a vivid community of the 21^st century, with all the amenities and comforts that can be found everywhere.

One thing that has not changed is the island’s natural beauty. Lovely beaches with crystal waters, old hill and mountain paths for walking lovers, amazing sea views from various points of the island, awesome caves.

Since the ‘80s, Meganisi has been known as a small haven for sailing yachts. Its secure bays and harbours offer many commodities, and many flotillas visit it regularly. In the last 10 years more and more tourist visit Meganisi aiming for a step in the past, relaxation, new experiences and more.
